Private Policy Makes Gender-Free Statement On Americana For Spring 2018

Private Policy designers Haoran Li and Siying Qu looked West to provide direction for the label’s spring 2018 offerings. Underpinned by the label’s unisex ethos, offerings included chaps, harnesses and statement pieces like a coat inspired by the classic “thank you” plastic shopping bag.

“The idea behind the collection is a view of America through a foreigners’ eye, together with what the real America is,” said Li in an interview with WWD.

Looks were styled with cowboy boots and jewelry provided by New York-based designer Martine Ali.
