Makeup Artist Pat McGrath Taps Kim Kardashian To Debut ‘Dark Star’ Eye Kit

Influential British makeup artist Pat McGrath has been making a lot of waves as of late with her beauty line Pat McGrath Labs, which is known for its (very) dramatic lip and eye kits.

As part of the roll out of her Dark Star 006 eye kit, McGrath tapped makeup lover Kim Kardashian to reveal the line in a spot that showed during an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashian” that debuted tonight (April 4, 2017). In the spot, Kardashian applied the shimmery eye shadow as “Street Lights,” a song by her husband, Kanye West, played in the background.

The Dark Star 006 kits are available in three different color themes, ultra suede brown ($130), ultra violet blue ($130) and dark matter ($95), and can be pre-ordered at patmcgrath.com, starting on April 4, 2017.

The kits also will be available to purchase at Sephora and sephora.com on April 22, 2017.
